Competition "familyNET 4.0 - Family-conscious. Innovative. Digital. Securing skilled labour through a modern corporate culture"

The "familyNET 4.0 - Corporate culture in a digital working world" competition will take place for the fifth time in 2023. With this project, the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism and the Südwestmetall employers' association are promoting the implementation of digital solutions to improve work-life balance. "We want to offer companies a platform for innovative solutions for a modern, family-conscious and digitally supported HR policy and recognise exemplary companies. This year, we are further expanding our cooperation with associations in order to reach even more companies from different sectors," said Minister of Economic Affairs Dr Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut. "Take part in this year's competition and apply with your activities!"

The aim of the competition is to motivate as many companies as possible to implement a digital, family-conscious and life-phase-orientated corporate culture. Participating companies, and in particular the subsequent award winners, will receive a special unique selling point for addressing specialists and managers.

Companies of all sectors and sizes that have their headquarters in Baden-Württemberg are eligible to apply. It is clear that digitalisation is an ongoing process in all fields of activity, the end of which is not yet in sight. It is therefore also possible to apply if your company is still in the development phase.

Companies with up to 250 employees can apply for either one or all four fields of action as a package .

Companies with 251 or more employees can only apply for all four fields of action.

These are:

• Leadership 4.0 and agile team structures
• personnel and organisational development, ability to change and learn
• Health 4.0 and work-life balance
• Agile, life-phase-orientated work.

The awards are decided by a jury from business, science and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism. Strategic goals, innovation, impact and sustainability of the concepts, offers and measures in the individual fields of action will be assessed. Applications can be submitted until 4 August 2023.
